The nose of the 2009 Semper Ulises Chardonnay is reminiscent of fresh out of the oven pie-crust, Fuji apple, and wet granite. Night harvested and gently basket pressed before dawn, the wine is rich in body yet incredibly balanced and elegant, possessing pure mineral notes and a pallet of toasted almond, lime-curd and lightly toasted brioche. Clean, balanced acidity and well integrated oak give this wine a superb finish.
